We've had our wish list up on the website for a while now and I today I decided to post it's counterpart. Now that the Escalate Community Garden is established, we have a lot to offer community members in the area. For new local community or personal gardens, we can offer:
-Temporary loans of tools
-Seeds
-Compost
-Advice
We especially would like to encourage our neighbors to get started with home gardens. Getting a garden set-up is the biggest hurdle to gardening and and it can be intimidating for anyone. Therefore we would like to offer the garden and garden members as a resource for anyone with an extra patch of grass and a urge to grow some vegetables. Thankfully, in Arizona, some sort of vegetable is always in season so contact us today.
